I photograph as a hobby because the prospect of eternally capturing a moment in time or an emotion or feeling that I’ve experienced is a thrill that I enjoy. If people can look at my photo and feel those same things I feel, then I’ve done a good job in capturing that moment. My goal with photography is to fulfill a personal artistic/emotional need I have outside of my daily routine. I consider it a project to which I set goals I strive to accomplish as a means towards achieving personal fulfillment.
